Ode To The Wind
If, for a moment you listen, standing O so still
In the quiet of a new born day
Feel its gentle rush on naked skin
It beckons you, calls you to come within
It wants you to release yourself and fly
Fly to the blue Mountains across vast green plain
Fly to the hilltops through dell and dale
Across dancing seas racing with gale
Little ships bouncing on mountainous wave
Tiny animals playing in forests of wild
Lay for a minute in a daisy field mild
Then off again as you brush through long grass
Over great distance to rocky brown pass
To Polar Icecaps of seethrough blue glass
On and On your journey does go
To the ends of the Earth where the wild winds blow
O winds of the Valley and winds of the Sea
Riding with you my spirit will always be
As the grass rushes by to the tips of tall tree
Sometimes you wait there and sometimes you flee
But true to the winds real freedom to be
So take me forever to roam with your rush
Feel the power of your wonder to heaven you gush
O wind you are mine and I will be you
For you are real freedom whatever you do _________________ Antipodi
