 World School Project...Endangered Animals of The World

Almost every day of the week I read on another animal in danger of extinction ...It is so disheartening and to think much of the problem is us ...
Recently I came accross a project I heavilly reccomend to all schools all over the world ...The Site is called "The endangered Animals of the world" and can be accessed through URL http://www.tenan.vuurwerk.nl/indexusa.htm ..it is joint project founded by teachers Joan Gobel of Cannelton Elementary School , Cannelton , Indiana , USA and René de Vries , teacher of primary school De Wadden , Haalem The Netherlands...
This site encourages students to foster greater knowledge of the plight of the thousands of endangered animals all over the world..Schoels that have access to the internet can get involved and publish reports of their particular area or country and there is also a newsletter ..This site has won man awards and any parent who reads this article i reccomend they contact their loc al school and get them to join up with the site..what great world wide way to help our endangered animals and we can all be involved...
