MosNews
An unidentified robber forced the lock of an apartment situated in the south-east of Moscow to steal a guinea-pig, Moskovskiy Komsomolets daily newspaper reported Friday.
The burglar wanted to have the small animal so badly that he made two attempts to get into the flat. At first he forced the lock of the first entrance door, but neighbors heard the noise and called the police. Officers arrived but were unable to catch the criminal. They observed that the second door remained undamaged and left.
The tireless thief returned the same day, however, breaking into the flat and stealing the small cage with the guinea-pig still inside. Oddly enough, the burglar didn’t take anything else from the flat.
The neighbors failed to see the perpetrator. And the owners of the flat cannot even imagine who could even need the small animal. They had bought the guinea-pig at an open-air market for peanuts to amuse their small daughter. The small pig-looking animal named Borka lived in a roomy cage and entertained itself with omelets and cucumbers. |

yes i do hope its ok.
we have had stories here about people who steel animals, and its not too good for them.
4 months ago a baby penquin was taken form a zoo, his parents pined for it and the little one would die if not cared for by its parents.
dogs and cats are stolen and held for ransom or killed and delivered to the owners home dismembered if they dont pay up.
an owl was stolen who was rescued and cant eat certain food, if the thief dont know this the owl will die (this was about 7 weeks ago)
and ive heard of animals on med,who have been taken.
i dont know if any of these were found alive and returned to their owner.
one story of a cat i heard. as a young cat it dissapeared. the little girl (owner) 7 yrs later went to a rescue centre, miles away from her home(,she had grown up and moved out of the family home) to get another cat, she saw a nice tabby, but next to the tabbies cage was a big ginger cat, well you guessed it , Amazingly it was her cat, missing 7yrs. the poor tabby got left behind tho. _________________ js
