Yeah believe it or not Cavys seem to be suffering the same fate and many need to be rehomed ..infact I just did an article on it...Problem is people fall in love with the cuteness of the animal when they first get it ..dont realise the responsiblities and sadly when they do cant cope ..It should be a lesson to all to be totally aware of all the pros and cons of ANY pet they intend to love ...as it is a lifetime commitment especially for the animal...
