Looks quiet in here, where did everyone go?
I have the BBQ ready, it's fired up! Ready to put on some king prawns marinated in a special tasty sauce. There is also plenty of Tooheys (Australian beer) on ice. Let's party on

Hey dB I'm back got the sausages sizzlin and the prawns sealin , a coldie in my hand ...Hopefully we'll get more to come soon ....Seems we all come on here at different times ...great to see the regulars we are getting some wonderfully caring and also knowledgeable people ....I hope they will contribute with articles so I can slow down a bit with mine ....anyway wanna Crisp...

Try these they're the best ..he soon we should cordinate a chatroom meet for everybody we have a live chat site but I am about to go to bed it is 12:30 midnight here and I am about to turn into a pumpkin...also gotta get up at 7 as I gotta go out and get some piggie food being their number one slave ...

Time zones!?!, UGH!!! I remember when i was living in Australia having to keep daily contact with my now wife (Sara), night time in Australia is daytime in the USA, and to make matters more confusing Australia is 15 to 17 hours ahead of the time zone (depending on daylight savings, yet more confusing). The time zones drive me crazy

hi Anti, yep not too bad, although my dog had a bad seizure sat morning 3.30, we didnt think he was gonna make it. but he has recovered thankfully. its his birthday on july 28 he will be 13, so we're keeping our fingers crossed he makes it, you know that makes him about 91 or 92 in human years.
i can try and help with the news letter if i can , but i cant down load stuff.
if you could email me it , i could do it that way maybe ?

Hi js ...Sounds like poor doggy needs a vet check ..although hes getting old it maybe good insurance and especially take the strain of yah..you should take him to the vet just for peace of mind....
I will email the Newsletter as a word 97 attachement today (it shouldnt take long need it back by Friday this week cause next weeks the deadline ) ..thankyou for your help....
I see yah tried the shoutbox ..it has lots of potential ..we can literally talk to each other live when online...it could be great fun...
In the mean time sit back have a drink and relax..

Barker has had 2 more fits.
we know what the problem is, he has a brain tumor, his on med and now its been increased so i hope it works.
i have also arranged to have a mobile vet come here if one of his fits leave him in a bad way, so that he can be euthanised.
i dont want him to suffer, and yet i want to give the med a chance to work.
but if he doesnt get to his feet within a reasonable waiting time then we know what we have to do.
we are in constant contact with the best animal hospital in the UK.
"the queen mother hospital for animals"
they actually saved his life all those years ago, by teling us he didnt have cancer,and that he had a paraprostatic cyst which they removed in a major operation, our local vet had said he did have cancer and should be put to sleep. unfortunately this time he has and the tumor cant easily be removed.

Dear js ..it is very sad to hear poor doggy has a brain tumour //I reall hope he gets better ...the one good thing he has going for him is your love for him and this will make him at least more comfortable...I sadly had an afghan with cancer..he was pure white and we think the sun gave it to him...He was diagnosed with limph node carcoma...we put him on med and he lived hapily for another year ..but sadly he succumbed and we had to have him put to sleep ...I remember thinking how bad it was we lost him ..but that evening..he died in the morning...a beautiful red sunset ..like i have never seen before appreared in the "Sky" ..his name was sky and it looked like he was telling me he was somewhere better now and to get on with my life( cause believe me I was serverely depressed) ..I always remember this beautiful doggie , who was shy and very gentle but just maybe he may now be running free in a tall grass field where the sun always shines , sickness is unknown and happiness is an old constant friend...
