I think we are on the brink of having to slow down on fishing as there seems to be a lessoning of fishstocks in many parts of the world ..we may be be already in thie midst of mass extinctions of many common varieties...sadly _________________ Antipodi

i only agree with the idea of fishing, providing the fish dont suffer.
you can buy fish friendly tackle now,( hooks) for rod and line fishing.
i think creatures like the shark should not be killed.
and a new method of killing for food (netting) should be introduced, as fish caught for food, suffocate to death when taken out of the water.
1000 dolphins, whales, porposes are drowned each day due to netting.
also if fishing tackle is left laying around, it is a danger to wildlife, birds and animals often fall victim to digarded hooks and line. _________________ js
