Oh, yeah, you are right. She is spoilt rotten! Her former mom did it to her for 8 years and now I am doing it too because she demands it everyday. She would meow and make other sounds just to make me pay attention to her. The pouch would block her so that she could not get closer to me. OMG, I feel like having kids. Laughing But I love both so dearly Smile

The other day, I caught the schnauzer kissing mitri and she meowed. I think she did not like a dog to kiss her. Ha ha ha!

Hellowwwmeowwww!

Thanks! Yeah, it is nice to talk about animals especially I have a rowdy rascal dog. He just claimed my pillows I was napping and I had cramps! No wonder he was on it! This morning the cat was in a box again where I kept my winter pilIows. It is hot in TX right now, but because I turned the aircon to 60 degrees-she got cold.

Very Happy

A big dog chased us yesterday while walking around to find a place where the pup can do his thing. It turned out that the woman unleashed her dog and never realized we were coming. I was very scared. But you know folks, the schnauzer fought back with that big dog and jumped on hhim. I told the owner of the big dog that your dog attacked us. She knows that she is not supposed to leave her house with out a leash and it is against the law. I was terrified and went in my place and check if Enzo was hurt. Thank God, he did not have any.

Very Happy

It is terribly irresponsible not to have dogs on a leash so many have been bitten because of it...In Australia now we have a new system where dogs who are considered dangerous have to wear a yellow and black collar to identify them also its against the law for these dogs to be unleashed in public....
Sadly there are many strays as well ...I think we need to make it compusory if the dog is not a show dog that they should be neutered caus , sadly many dogs get out and breed when they shouldnt leaving us with many unwanted puppies that get dumped and abandoned...
Speying here in Australia is very expensive and the Government as an initiative should subsidise as it is in the public interest...

yesterday a little boy was dragged by a pit bull cross, it nearly chewed his arm off, and his leg. a quick thinking niehbour save the boys life by hitting the dog, first with a stick (that didnt work) then with a tool from his garage. the dog was later put down. now if it hadnt be free to roam around unleashed this would not have happened.

last week another boy was attacked he had to have 30 stitches in his face, and this was the 2nd time this dog had gone for him.

Oh, man, that would be a big time lawsuit here in the states. The authority will take the dog and put to sleep so that it will not harm anybody. It's morbid! Poor boy has to suffer and most probably scared to death. I had bitten by a big dog when I was little ,so I knew how painful it is! Awww Crying or Very sad

More than the greatest love... Reply with quote
I had two dogs before these two sweet animals that I have right now. Baxter was a terrier beagle mix and Bart was an American foxhound. I lived with Baxter for 13 years to be exact and Bart just 8 years. Bax was already suffering from epilepsy when he was 3 or 4 years old. I adopted him when he was one and a half years old. However, I took good care of him until he was taken away from me. What happened to Bart that awful day in the backyard was that he was just doing his own thing when a lawnman mowed the yard and did not close the gate and Bart ran off. I was mortified, cried for 2 days. I was screaming, calling his name all over the community. I called the city pound where they keep animals that are missing and for the owners to claim their love pets... Bart was not there. Monday, I had a call from a friend, told me that Bart is in the city pound, and was run over by a car dead! I was devastated and I got sick. Imagine loosing both animals I loved so dearly. I was so alone and I promised that I would not dare have any pets because losing them is just like deaths of a family members. Horrific!
I had been so quite about this -my heart is too weak and if I keep on reminding my past with my sweet dogs, I will be a nervous wreck again. So, be it!

I told a friend last weekend about how precious my former angels were. Bart and Baxter. It has been 8 years for Baxter and 5 years for Bart. They were such good dogs and I could not help but: cry: I will be fine in a few minutes though! The schnauzer Enzo is such a noisy pup! He dragged me today outside because he saw two cats from a distance. It hurt my back so badly that I need to see a doc tomorrow: cry: I love him but what a hyperactive dog. He needs to go to school for dogs. Do you think it is the right thing to do?

Thanks for your help Smile

im sorry to hear about the sad loss of your pets nellie Sad

Enzo does sound like a handful, maybe dog school would be good for him or a dog training book.

my cat was run over about 11 yrs ago . when i got another one i swore he'd want for nothing and that he would be an indoor cat without the danger of cars. and so he is just like a king, he is so regal Laughing

sometimes I worry about ineptitude of parents ..in Australia a child was mauled in a backyard by a Pit Bull Terrier ...now if that child had have been supervised ..it might have been a different story...

well since the dog died Giz seems a little lost, i mean he has no one to terrorise exept me maybe, his got a real menacing look, he wont be brushed without trying to bite me or hubby.
he spends most of his time sitting next to hubby (while his trying to work) he has only the edge of the seat as Giz has most of it.
if we go out of the room , he follows us, its like he is now insecure. he did seam ok at first but now we're seeing this new and strange behaviour.
think i may have to plug the felliway in again.
