Teddy Bear Endangered
The original "Teddy Bear" name given by President Theodore Rosevelt as a conservation highlight is apparently on the endangered list because of hunting...It shows my belief that man should not be allow to hunt ..especially animals ..he just doesnt have the brains to manange such a deadly weapon....It makes me want to cry in despair...

Federal officials have begun removing grizzly bears at Yellowstone National Park from the endangered species list. They have been protected for nearly 30 years, and will now be managed by state officials who might allow hunting. The grizzly could be in danger of extinction if taken off the list.
Conservationist say two of the grizzlies' major food sources, cutthroat trout and seeds from the white-bark pine trees, are declining. After they are delisted, most of their habitat will be open for building, lodging, recreation and development.
Researcher Troy Merrill says, "Any bears that get too far from Yellowstone will be eliminated...the grizzlies will basically be locked in an open air zoo." Many grizzlies wander; only 10 to 30 percent stay in one area. Their habitat limits will decline rapidly.
State officials in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho are going to manage the bears and will authorize hunting outside the protected areas. Most bears that die in the Yellowstone area are killed by humans. Last year alone, 26 grizzlies died, one of the highest totals in past years.
This is why the grizzly bear should remain on the endangered species list.

Sadly this was probably done quietly and many genuine American people are not aware this magnificent animal is now in danger of being obliterated by big game hunters..these guys are so trigger happy and many times dont hunt for food but to gather trophies for their inflated egoes....Hunting is one thing I am dead against ...In this modern day and age ..I see no point in it ..we no longer need to hunt for food ..It is barbaric and can only end in the terrible suffering of animals or the abandonment of a little one...Hunting should be banned
