The Fashion of Fur
I am the fur of fashion and I am true shame
I come from beautiful animals both wild and tame
I adorn the vile wealthy and look good in Fashion
O hear the agony of tiny animals in their passion
From the Arctic hear the bloody screams of baby seals
They are clubbed to death for obscene beauty and vanity
In the Russian heart the Mink lived wild and free
Feel the blood and agony as the fur drips blood from the tree
Hear The Magnificent Siberian Tiger as its roar is sadly fading
Beautiful striped and luxurious spotted fur ....
Has sadly been a species downfall, extinction.degrading
All animals live in fear of vile human vanity
Their screams and cries are part of the obscene profanity.
All that is written and all that is said
Lets ask all the animals how they feel instead
When you are so beautiful and they take and slaughter you
Then they adorn themselves with what is left of you
O my wonderful animals I weep for the soul of you
I watch on the catwalk as they use and abuse you
For all the beautiful animals yet to be born
Your beauty torn from your flesh to adorn
Shallow hearts and deteriated sick minds
I pray that one day we follow a fashion not of pain
But in respect of life, free and true living beauty.
For real beauty is born of vibrant life..
Not from agony, death and the maimed...
