Hello Everyone!
Sorry I've not been surfing this site for a while. Had family problems and had to make a trip to Ohio (from Georgia) to take care of things. While getting things set up to bring my dad home with me, and to become his careiver, I've been staying at his house.
Dad's house abounds with birds, birds, and more birds! But the really interesting birds are the two newcomers creating all sorts of noise and interest: Mr and Mrs Hawk! The hawks just sit on the wood pile or roof of the garage and scream at each other - loudly! You don't have to see them to know they have arrived! They are "talking" to each other as I type this right now! They are soooo huge!!! When sitting, they almost look like statues. Boy! Are they beautiful. Love to see their feathers as the breeze blows through them. Wish you all could see them, too. My sister and I love to stand at the kitchen window and watch all the birds, but those hawks are so fun to watch, too. We haven't seen what they are catching for food yet. Hope it's not the chipmunks. They can have all the groundhogs they want, tho! The yard is full of holes and tunnels (I think the holes lead to China!)
I finally was able to get back online-even if only temporarily for now. Feels great to be back online and on the forum. This site keeps improving all the time! I'll be back home next week, and hope to get back online soon afterwards. _________________ Coleman
