this is our story in brief.. we were advised by our old vet to put our dog down, the vet said he had cancer and was speaking to us on the phone at the time, he said he could put him down there and then. but we decided to bring him home, the kids had not said bye to him , after time to think we decided to get a 2nd opinion, maybe there was some treatment he could have, he was only 5. but what we found out was this, that he did Not have cancer at all, he had a paraprostatic cyst, he had an op and lived 7 extra years.now what if we had taken the first vets advice Shocked
we have seen many other things over the yrs.
3 different vets prescribing the wrong dose of med.
a vet left our cat to die. a vet who behaved indescently toward our dog. another vet that struck us off and banned us from seeing other associated vets in our area because of a misunderstanding down to them.
many vets in the UK are failing our pets. here we complain to the RCVS (royal collage of veterinary surgeons) but they will not do anything.
by signing this petition to Tony Blair you will be helping our pets get the treatment they deserve.
Thankyou

Truely a great cause being a vet can be rewarding financially as well as Spiritually but sadly many opt for the financial rewards more than the the satisfaction of saving an innocent from suffering..
